Weird Meta Moments
Has Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Meta AI, or Muse done something weird to you? Tell me anonymously. Let's find out what's actually happening.
Heads up: These are anonymous personal reports, not verified findings. I don't claim that Meta, Meta AI, or Muse did anything wrong.

How it works
It happened to me
Something odd happens on an app. You wonder if it's just you. Here's how we find out together.
You report
Tell me what happened in a short anonymous form. No name, email, or account needed.
I check
Every report is read and checked for privacy. Anything that could identify someone is removed.
We all learn
Patterns are written up in plain language, next to what the company says about it.
Why now
Why Meta, why now
Meta launched Muse, its personal AI agent, on 8 September 2026. Meta's launch post says:
“Muse also remembers what matters to a person, so it can make suggestions unprompted and act on details that person only mentioned once.”
About Meta, “Introducing Muse”, 8 September 2026
Meta also has a help page for people who don't use Muse. It says:
“When others use Muse, information about you may be provided to Muse, even if you don't use Muse directly.”
“When we process information from external sources about people who don't use Muse, we don't link that information to any Meta account.”
Meta Help Center, “Information for people who don't use Muse”
Most people never read these pages. What they notice is what happens on their screen. This project collects those moments, so we can all be better informed.

Questions
Good to know
Will my story be public?
Not as you wrote it. Every report is checked for privacy first. Only counts and patterns are published, plus quotes from people who ticked the quote box.
Can you prove what happened to me?
No. I can't check single reports. Findings are labelled as self-reported, next to what Meta has said publicly.
Why do you ask which country?
Meta's settings and rules change by country. For example, Muse reached the US before Canada. Your country helps me tell you what applies to you.
How do I delete my report?
After you send, you get a code that starts with WMM-. Enter it on the Delete my report page.
Who runs this?
Sarah Murchú, who explains AI and your digital footprint in plain language on Instagram at @sarahmurchu. This project is independent. It is not linked to Meta, and it is not legal advice.
